Finding Dory Movie Review

Finding Dory is a Pixar movie that was released in 2016. Dory is a royal blue tang fish who suffers from short-term memory loss. One night Dory gets a flashback about her family and needs to find them. She goes on a world-round trip trying to find her way back home. She leaves her home on the reef to go find her real home.

When the movie starts, everything is normal. Dory’s life is great. She is going to school and living with Marlin and Nemo. One night, she falls asleep and has a dream. The dream is of her parents and her old home! She tells Marlin and tells him she has to leave, by herself. She heads off trying to find her family. On the way, she gets captured by a sea rescuer. She gets put in a tank in a truck and meets a very sarcastic septopus named Hank. Hank agrees to help her find her way back only if she gives him her red tag on her fin. Dory and Hank travel across the sea and there are many problems, friendships, reunions, and heartbreak.

This movie is a very good movie. It has lots of twists that you would never see coming. It has amazing animation and drawing. This is a good family friendly movie that is great for little kids. It is a funny movie with jokes, but it also has some lessons. I really recommend this movie to everyone, because it is good for all ages, and is an overall great movie.

Finding Dory is a fun movie, but it has some negative aspects. First of all, it is pretty similar to Finding Nemo, because Dory goes to find her family and Marlin and Nemo go on their own adventure to find her to make sure she’s safe. Also sometimes, I feel like you can get lost. When Dory and her friends were in the aquarium the movie cut to different scenes, and for a little kid, it could get a bit confusing.

Finding Dory is really funny and has a good storyline all the way through. I would recommend this movie to anyone. It is great for children, and the adults will enjoy it, too. If you are on the fence about watching it, I think that you definitely should.
