Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077

Kulley Christman, Reporter

Cyberpunk is a game that was hyped up beyond belief, and it fell short in a lot of people’s eyes. The game is good, but not what people thought it would be. It has fun gameplay and a fun campaign/story that keeps you playing through the bugs and crashing. The game does not run well on current gen consoles like Playstation 4 and Xbox one. But on PC and next gen consoles like the Playstation 5 and the Xbox series X it runs really well and is praised for its complex and intricate story and characters that all of their own stories.

There are a lot of positives to this game like it’s a great story and great characters. The cars and the fighting are incredible parts of the gameplay that can’t be overlooked despite all the performance issues the game has. I think this game has a lot of great features that are overshadowed by the bad things, and this causes buyers to think the game is a bust.

I think this game is a good buy if you have the right platform to play on like a PC or Playstation 5 or Xbox series X. There are a lot of bugs that hold the game back, but I think you have to give the game a chance and just give the developers time to fix the game with updates and bug fixes. I would like to spend a lot of time on this game going through the story mode and roaming the world.

The graphics on the Xbox one and playstation 4 are terrible. You can barely see anything and it’s hard to understand what something is. The graphics on the Xbox series X and Playstation 5 though are incredible you can do everything in the game running backwards and the game will still look great, which is exciting.

The bugs are the only thing holding this game back from being great. Sadly there are a whole lot of them like walking through cars, people just disappearing, motorcycles getting thrown at you and a lot more. Once the developers fix all the bugs this game will be really good and definitely worth the money and time that you will put into it (on the right platform).

All in all, buy the game and give it a chance. If you don’t like it just return it and get a refund. The bugs will be gone sooner or later and by the time they are you’ll already be super far in the game by the time all of the new buyers get it. Some personal advice is to not get the game if you are still on the current generation of console it’s just not a good purchase and you probably won’t enjoy it.
